Square and light gray, the 1551WTGY is the 60 x 60 x 22 mm flangeless member of the 1551W watertight polycarbonate miniature enclosure range. OEM engineers and installers use this format to protect a compact circuit board from water and dust in outdoor or wash-down-prone locations.
The body and lid are robust polycarbonate with a satin texture finish, rated UL94 V-0 for flammability. Sealing comes from a replaceable silicone gasket, and the enclosure is designed to meet IP68. Supplied with box, lid, gasket and four #4 plastite self-tapping cover screws.
Dimensions are 60 mm (2.36 in) by 60 mm (2.36 in) with a 22 mm (0.87 in) depth including the lid. Inside, molded standoffs accept #2 self-tapping screws and a board up to 54.5 mm by 54.5 mm.
