The 1551WTFLBK is a black 60 x 60 x 22 mm watertight polycarbonate enclosure with integrated wall-mounting flanges, part of the 1551W miniature series. It is aimed at builders of outdoor and wet-location electronics who want a sealed square PCB box that bolts directly to a wall or surface.
Robust polycarbonate with a satin texture forms the body and lid, and the material is rated UL94 V-0. The replaceable silicone gasket guards against water and dust ingress, and the enclosure is designed to meet IP68. Included: box, lid, gasket and four #4 plastite self-tapping cover screws.
The body is 60 mm (2.36 in) square, not including flanges, and 22 mm (0.87 in) deep including the lid; the drawing shows 80.01 mm [3.15 in] overall across the flanges. Molded-in standoffs take #2 self-tapping screws and a board up to 54.5 x 54.5 mm. Recommended torque is 71-100 ozf.in (50-70 cN.m) for #4 cover screws and 21-28 ozf.in (15-20 cN.m) for #2 internal screws.
The light gray flanged option is 1551WTFLGY and the flangeless black option is 1551WTBK. Replacement gaskets are ordered as 1551WTGASKET (2-pack). RoHS and REACH compliant, shrink wrapped, 0.09 lbs (0.04 kg).
