Hammond 1550QEGASKET 60x55 mm IP66 Eva Foam Replacement Gasket Kit

The 1550QEGASKET is the IP66 replacement gasket kit for the 60x55 mm size of the 1550 Series diecast aluminum enclosures (60 x 55 x 30 mm), covering the natural 1550Q, the black 1550QBK, and the watertight 1550WQ and 1550WQBK versions. Use it to add water-tight sealing to a standard box or to replace the gasket on a watertight one.

Each kit holds two pre-formed, economical EVA foam gaskets. The adhesive backing lets you press the gasket into place on the lid, where a gasket retainer keeps the seal accurately and steadily positioned. The EVA foam gasket is rated up to 65°C (149°F). The 1550 enclosure is designed to meet IP54 without a gasket; with this gasket properly installed and the lid screws torqued at 55 cN.m it is designed to meet IP66. Where IP67 or a wider temperature range is needed, the silicone upgrade kit for the same size is 1550QSGASKET.
