Hammond 1530D101 100 mH Sub-Miniature Ferrite-Core RF Choke, 29 mA

The 1530D101 is a sub-miniature R.F. choke from the 1530 Series, rated at 100,000 uH (100 mH) with a ferrite core. It is intended for engineers and technicians building network, filter and delay-line circuits where a compact inductor with a specified Q and self-resonant frequency is needed.

The 1530D101 is the highest-inductance value listed in the 1530 table at 100,000 uH, wound on a ferrite core with the 0.63 in form length. Note that the part page short description reads "RF CHOKE 22UH 229MA C50"; the ordering table and part attributes list 100,000 uH and 29 mA for this part number. Inductance tolerance is +/- 5%, with a minimum Q of 48 measured at a test frequency of 0.079 MHz, and a minimum self-resonant frequency (Fo) of 0.157 MHz. L and Q values for the series are measured on a Q meter.

Physically, the coil diameter is 0.446 in maximum and the form length is 0.63 in (16 mm), with a tolerance of +/- 0.03 in. Coils in this series are varnish impregnated, and the 1530 Series design ranges from only 0.25 in to 0.63 in in form length.
