Hammond 14G1311 12.75 x 10.88 in Galvanized Steel Enclosure Inner Panel

The Hammond 14G1311 is a 12.75 x 10.88 in (324 x 276 mm) inner panel in 14 gauge galvanized steel, sized for 14 x 12 in 1414 and EJ Series enclosures and the matching PJ Series enclosure. It gives OEM engineers, panel builders and electricians a flat, pre-drilled surface for mounting components inside the enclosure, and belongs to Hammond's 14A, 14F, 14G, 14R and 14R-SS inner panel family.

It is made from 14 gauge unpainted galvanized steel. Hammond's series notes state that galvanized panels and mounting hardware are included with EJ Series enclosures, so the 14G1311 is the matching separately ordered galvanized panel for the 14 x 12 in size. The part drawing shows a 0.07 in panel section with four 0.27 in diameter mounting holes.

Per the series ordering table the panel measures 12.75 in (324 mm) long by 10.88 in (276 mm) wide; Hammond's product description rounds this to a nominal 12.9 x 10.9 in panel that fits a 14 x 12 enclosure. It is listed for 1414 and EJ enclosures measuring 14.00 x 12.00 in H x W (356 x 305 mm), and for PJ Series enclosures measuring 15.08 x 13.20 in (383 x 335 mm).

The drawing places the four mounting holes on a 12.25 x 10.25 in pattern. Mounting hardware is included with the enclosure rather than listed with the panel. For PJ Series enclosures Hammond notes the hardware comes with the enclosure while the panel is ordered separately. Shipping weight is 3.12 lbs (1.42 kg), packed in a bag, and the 14G1311 is listed as RoHS and REACH compliant.

The same 12.75 x 10.88 in footprint is also offered in steel (14R1311), fiberglass (14F1311), aluminum (14A1311) and stainless steel (14R1311SS), so a matching panel can be chosen in unpainted galvanized steel or another material without changing the layout.
