Hammond 1486B30SS 30-Inch 2.5x2.5 Type 4X Stainless Wiring Trough

The 1486B30SS is a 30-inch Type 4X wiring trough in 304 stainless steel, sized 2.5 in x 2.5 in x 30 in (64 mm x 64 mm x 762 mm). Part of the 1486SS Series, it is designed to enclose and protect multiple wiring junctions from dirt, dust, oil and water while providing a measure of corrosion protection.

Construction is formed 14 gauge 304 stainless steel with smooth continuously welded seams. The trough and cover are natural stainless steel with a smooth brushed finish. Access is through a butt hinged cover secured with easily operated screw clamps, sealed by oil resistant gaskets that are permanently secured.

From the part drawing: top opening 29.21 in, side opening 1.71 in, door 30.38 in by 2.88 in, and 29.25 in x 1.75 in of clear space available on the door. The 0.31 in mounting holes sit 3.19 in apart across the feet.

The 12 gauge external mounting feet are welded to the back, with a 4.00 in width across the feet. Shipping weight is 9 lbs (4.08 kg).
