The 1485C9P is a 90 degree inside opening elbow for 4 x 4 in N12 (NEMA Type 12) wireway. It takes a 4 x 4 in run around a right-angle corner in a single fitting and opens on the inside of the bend, so conductors are accessed from the inner face of the turn. It is used by electricians, OEM engineers and panel builders when that inner face is the practical access side.
The elbow is steel with a gray finish. Its drawing shows a door on the fitting, a 5.38 x 5.38 in flange outline, an overall size of 10.60 x 10.60 in and Ø0.28 in holes.
One flat sealing plate is included with the 1485C9P, allowing the joint to the adjoining section to be sealed without ordering a separate plate. It is REACH and RoHS compliant.
The 1485 9P series offers this inside opening 90 degree elbow in 2.5 x 2.5, 4 x 4, 6 x 6, 8 x 8 and 12 x 6 in sizes; this is the 4 x 4 in version. The 1485C9P ships in a box at 5 lbs (2.27 kg). Check the drawing dimensions against your routing layout before installation.
