The 1485C4P fits 4 x 4 in N12 (NEMA Type 12) wireway and turns the run through 45 degrees with the opening on the inside of the bend. Choosing the inside opening version lets installers reach the wiring from the inner face of the elbow, which can be the practical side when the top face is not accessible.
