The Hammond 1485C48 is a 48" straight section of 4 x 4 N12 lay-in wireway in the 1485 S Series. At 4 in x 4 in x 48 in (102 mm x 102 mm x 1,219 mm) it offers a four-foot length for installers building 4 x 4 wireway runs across machines, control panels and plant walls.
The section is steel with a gray finish. Its drawing shows a door with the gasket installed, 46.47 in long and 4.61 in wide, over a 47.75 in opening. The body is 4.63 in square with a 3.86 in inside dimension, the 5.38 in end flanges are 0.72 in deep and 2.75 in clear space is shown as available.
