The 1485BW2 is a non lay-in cut-off fitting for 2.5 x 2.5 N12 wireway, part of the 1485 W2 Series. It is intended for making short custom sections of wireway, for lengths up to 12 in: the installer cuts off the body to the required length and welds on the flange. That makes it useful for electricians and machine builders closing a gap in a small wireway run.
The fitting is steel with a gray finish, and one angle sealing plate is included. The manufacturer drawing shows 12.00 in and 11.88 in body dimensions, a 2.50 in top-view dimension, 2.36 in x 2.36 in inside dimensions, a 3.88 in side-view dimension, front-view dimensions of 1.56 in, 1.56 in and 3.13 in, and 0.28 in diameter holes.
