The Hammond 1485B48 is a 48" straight section of 2.5 x 2.5 N12 lay-in wireway in the 1485 S Series. At 2.5 in x 2.5 in x 48 in (64 mm x 64 mm x 1,219 mm) it provides a four-foot length for integrators and electricians building longer compact wireway runs with fewer joints.
The section is steel with a gray finish. Its drawing shows the door with the gasket installed, 46.47 in long and 3.11 in wide, over a 47.75 in opening. The 3.13 in square body has a 2.36 in inside dimension, the 3.88 in end flanges are 0.72 in deep and 1.50 in clear space is shown as available.
