Hammond 1481WSSDH2416 18 x 7 Deep Hinged Window Kit, 316 Stainless 4X

The 1481WSSDH2416 is a deep hinged window kit in 316 stainless steel with a 18.00 x 6.75 in (457 x 171 mm) viewing area, a mid-size option in the 1481WDH range. Extra deep kits like this one are designed to provide protection and easy access to components and equipment installed inside an enclosure, giving panel builders, electricians and OEM engineers 2.5 inches of extra usable depth behind the window.

The frame is 316L stainless steel (listed on the part page as 316SS) in a natural brushed stainless steel finish, and the window is 0.25 in thick UV resistant polycarbonate. An oil resistant neoprene gasket ensures a watertight seal, so the kit maintains the environmental protection level of the enclosure: stainless steel versions maintain Type 4, 4X and 12, and this part is listed as UL/CSA Type 12, Type 4 and Type 4X.
