The 1457UWPF is a water-tight replacement end panel kit for Hammond 1457U extruded aluminum enclosures, supplied as a 2-pack with hardware included. It is for technicians and OEM builders who need to replace damaged or modified end panels, or who want to keep spare panels on hand for machining.
The panels are die-cast aluminum alloy in black. Across the 1457 Series, end panels are described as rugged yet easy to machine and are finished in a durable black satin powder paint, with full-perimeter self-adhesive gaskets that help the assembled enclosure reach its IP65 rating. That makes these panels a practical place to cut openings for connectors, switches or cable glands.
These panels have integrated mounting flanges, which is how the 1457 Series provides its wall-mounting option: fitting them to a 1457U body lets the enclosure be fixed to a wall or panel. They also serve as direct replacements on 1457U enclosures that were supplied with flanged panels. For flat panels without flanges, order 1457UWP.
The 2-pack covers one enclosure (one panel per end) and ships at 0.35 lbs (0.16 kg). For production quantities, the 10-pack is 1457UWPF-10.
