The 1457TWP-10 is a 10-pack end panel kit for the wide 1457T enclosures in the 1457 watertight series. It serves maintenance teams replacing panels and engineers who want spare blanks to machine for connectors, displays or cable entries.
The panels are flat, without mounting flanges, and are made from die-cast aluminum in black. The series copy describes 1457 end panels as rugged yet easy to machine diecast aluminum with full perimeter self-adhesive gaskets.
The series table lists the 1457T extrusion at 165.50 mm wide and 54.00 mm high, in 160.00 mm and 220.00 mm lengths: 1457T1601, 1457T1602, 1457T2201, 1457T2202 and their BK versions. The kit is classed as End Panels, Water-Tight, with an IP65 rating.
Across the 1457 Series, each enclosure is supplied with its extruded body, diecast end panels, gaskets and hardware, and extra end panel kits are sold separately. Enclosure assembly uses thread forming screws, black zinc plated to ASTM B633-13, with a recommended screw torque of 5 lbf/in.
Shipping weight 1.05 lbs (0.48 kg); packed in a bag; RoHS and REACH compliant. The flanged version is 1457TWPF-10, the 2-pack is 1457TWP, and matching gaskets (1457TPG-10 water-tight, 1457TEG-10 EMI) and screws (1457MS100) are available.
