Hammond 1457N1202 120mm Flanged IP65 Aluminum Enclosure, Clear Anodized

The 1457N1202 is the wall-mountable version of the 1457N 120 mm watertight enclosure: an extruded aluminum box with flanged diecast end panels, aimed at integrators and electricians who need to fix sealed electronics to a wall, panel or machine frame. The enclosure measures 4.73 in x 4.09 in x 2.15 in (120 mm x 104 mm x 55 mm) and is designed to meet IP65.

Its body is a single extrusion of aluminum 6063, at least 0.06" (1.5 mm) thick, finished in clear anodized. The end panels are Type 380 diecast aluminum with a black powder paint finish and full perimeter self-adhesive gaskets. With the flanges, the drawing gives an overall length of 152.15 mm (5.990 in), against 132.15 mm across the end panels alone.

Inside, boards slide horizontally into slots extruded into the walls. The part page gives a maximum P.C. board size of 119 mm x 99 mm; the drawing notes it fits a 120 mm x 100 mm PCB. Inside face-to-face length is 120.00 mm, inside width 101.00 mm and inside height 50.11 mm.

Each assembly comes with the box, end panels, #6 Taptight screws with O-rings, self-adhesive rubber feet and gaskets. Assembly screws are black zinc plated to ASTM B633-13, with a recommended torque of 5 lbf/in. A 0.75 mm deep recess on the body accepts a label or membrane keypad.

RoHS and REACH compliant, shipped in shrink wrap at 0.66 lbs (0.30 kg). The factory can mill, drill or print enclosures on quote, and STEP or IGES models are available.
