Hammond 1456CE2BKBK 4x5.5 in 15° Sloped Aluminum Console, All-Black

The 1456CE2BKBK is a 15-degree sloped aluminum console from the 1456 Series with a black top panel and a black case. It is one of the two smallest footprints in the series at 4.00 in wide and 5.50 in deep, with a gentle 15-degree slope rising from 1.10 in at the front to 2.00 in at the rear. Its small size suits compact console layouts that need a tilted top panel.

The case is made from 12 gauge aluminum (0.081 in, 2 mm) and the top from 14 gauge aluminum (0.064 in). The purchased assembly includes the case, cover, 4 cover screws and 4 rubber feet, and the series comes with self-adhesive rubber feet and the required mounting hardware. The recommended cover screw torque is 150-175 cN-m (13.3-15.5 lbf-in).

This all-black version carries an IP31 rating and is listed in black. Its listed size is 5.5 in x 4 in x 2 in (140 mm x 102 mm x 51 mm), with a rear height of 2.00 in (51 mm) and a front height of 1.10 in (28 mm). Shipping weight is 0.64 lbs (0.29 kg), and it ships in shrink wrap.
