Hammond 1455UPLY-10 Yellow Closed Bezels for 1455U Enclosures, 10-Pack

The 1455UPLY-10 is a set of yellow closed bezels (solid plastic end caps) for Hammond 1455U extruded aluminum enclosures, sold as a 10-pack. It is intended for electronics designers, OEM engineers and integrators who house PC boards in the 1455 series and need solid end caps for the 1455U body size.

Each bezel is made from ABS plastic in yellow. Yellow is one of the accent colours offered for the 1455 closed bezels; the series sheet notes that accessory panels and bezels allow for mixing and matching of colors, so yellow ABS plastic end caps let you change the look of a standard 1455U enclosure or tell units apart by colour.

Part number 1455UPLY-10 is the 10-pack, a larger quantity for multiple enclosures or spares, with a listed shipping weight of 1 lbs (0.45 kg). If you only need to dress one enclosure, the same colour is available as a 2-pack under 1455UPLY. The part is listed by the manufacturer as REACH compliant and RoHS compliant, with UPC 623980564340 and UNSPSC 39121301.

The bezels fit enclosures whose part numbers start with 1455U. In the 1455 series ordering tables, 1455U enclosures are 191 mm wide and 66 mm deep, in lengths of 160, 220 and 280 mm, and the series is designed to house PC boards that slide horizontally into slots extruded into the aluminum body. The closed bezels come in black, yellow, red, translucent red and translucent blue, each in 2-packs and 10-packs.
