Hammond 1455P1601 160x125x30.5 mm Clear IP54 Extruded Aluminum Enclosure

The 1455P1601 is a clear anodized extruded aluminum PC board enclosure from the 1455 Series, sized 160 x 125 x 30.5 mm with metal end panels. It is built for electronics designers and OEM builders housing a PC board or interfacing equipment in a low-profile, IP54-rated metal case.

The extrusion is designed for a 120 mm wide PC board, and the maximum board size is listed as 159 mm long by 119.5 mm wide. Boards mount horizontally by sliding into internal slots extruded into the body, and this model is listed among the enclosures with a sliding plate.

The box is made from extruded aluminum 6063 with a minimum body thickness of 0.06 in (1.5 mm), and the bezels are polycarbonate. The part lists a size of 6.3 in x 4.92 in x 1.22 in (160 mm x 125 mm x 31 mm); the drawing gives an overall length of 160.00 ± 0.50 mm [6.299 ± 0.020 in] and a 125.00 mm [4.921 in] wide extrusion.
