Hammond 1455NF1201 120x103x53mm Clear Anodized Flanged Aluminum Enclosure

The 1455NF1201 is a clear anodized extruded aluminum PC board enclosure with integrated slotted mounting flanges, and the widest and deepest body style in the 1455F range, sized for 100 mm wide PC boards. It is built for OEM engineers, electronics designers and integrators who need a compact, IP54-rated housing with its own wall-mounting flanges. Its 103 mm wide, 53 mm deep extrusion takes PC boards up to 119 mm x 100 mm, the deepest cross-section in the flanged range.

The body is extruded aluminum with a minimum wall thickness of 0.06" (1.5 mm), finished in clear anodized. The flanges are part of the extrusion: they give the enclosure a completely flat bottom surface and transition seamlessly into the body, and their slots allow for easy wall mounting. PC boards slide into internal slots extruded into the enclosure body; the drawing notes the extrusion is designed for a 100 mm wide PC board.

Nominal size is 4.72 in x 4.06 in x 2.08 in (120 mm x 103 mm x 53 mm). The series ordering table gives a length of 120 mm, an enclosure width of 103 mm, a total width with flanges of 123 mm and a total outside depth of 53 mm. Maximum PC board size is 119 mm long by 100 mm wide, and shipping weight is 0.55 lbs (0.25 kg).

Each 1455NF1201 includes the extruded body, two aluminum end panels and all hardware: zinc-plated #6 x 3/8" TTT thread rolling steel screws with a #4 flat head Phillips drive, supplied in natural to match the housing. Recommended screw torque is 5 lbf-in. Replacement end panels come in 10-packs: 1455NAL-10 (clear), 1455NALBK-10 (black), 1455NALBU-10 (blue), 1455NALRD-10 (red). The part is RoHS and REACH compliant, and the enclosure can be factory modified (milling, drilling, printing); solid models are available in STEP or IGES. The black anodized version is 1455NF1201BK.
