Hammond 1455JF1201 120x78x27mm Clear Anodized Flanged Aluminum Enclosure

The 1455JF1201 is a clear anodized extruded aluminum PC board enclosure with integrated slotted mounting flanges, and a mid-width 1455F enclosure built around a 75 mm wide PC board. It is built for OEM engineers, electronics designers and integrators who need a compact, IP54-rated housing with its own wall-mounting flanges. With a 78 mm wide body and 27 mm outside depth it accepts PC boards up to 119 mm x 75 mm; a 160 mm long version (1455JF1601) uses the same cross-section.

The body is extruded aluminum with a minimum wall thickness of 0.06" (1.5 mm), finished in clear anodized. The flanges are part of the extrusion: they give the enclosure a completely flat bottom surface and transition seamlessly into the body, and their slots allow for easy wall mounting. PC boards slide into internal slots extruded into the enclosure body; the drawing notes the extrusion is designed for a 75 mm wide PC board.

Nominal size is 4.75 in x 3.06 in x 1.11 in (121 mm x 78 mm x 28 mm). The series ordering table gives a length of 120 mm, an enclosure width of 78 mm, a total width with flanges of 98 mm and a total outside depth of 27 mm. Maximum PC board size is 119 mm long by 75 mm wide, and shipping weight is 0.34 lbs (0.15 kg).

Each 1455JF1201 includes the extruded body, two aluminum end panels and all hardware: zinc-plated #6 x 3/8" TTT thread rolling steel screws with a #4 flat head Phillips drive, supplied in natural to match the housing. Recommended screw torque is 5 lbf-in. Replacement end panels come in 10-packs: 1455JAL-10 (clear), 1455JALBK-10 (black), 1455JALBU-10 (blue), 1455JALRD-10 (red). The part is RoHS and REACH compliant, and the enclosure can be factory modified (milling, drilling, printing); solid models are available in STEP or IGES. The black anodized version is 1455JF1201BK.
