PC boards mount horizontally by sliding into internal slots extruded into the enclosure body; the drawing notes that the extrusion is designed for a 75 mm wide PC board, and the manufacturer lists a maximum PC board size of 159 mm long by 74 mm wide. This size is listed in the 1455 series table of enclosures with a removable sliding plate.
As a plastic end plate version, the 1455J1602BK includes two closed end panels in black, made from ABS according to the drawing, plus four adhesive rubber feet and #6 x 3/8" thread rolling steel end panel screws with a #4 flat head Phillips drive in black finish. Recommended screw torque is 5 lbf-in; replacement screws are 1455MS100BK (quantity 100) and replacement feet are 1421T2CL (pack of 24).
The enclosure carries an IP54 rating, ships shrink wrapped and weighs 0.41 lbs (0.19 kg). It is RoHS and REACH compliant.
