Hammond 1455D802BK 80mm Black Aluminum PCB Enclosure, Closed Plastic Ends

The 1455D802BK is a 80 mm extruded aluminum PC board enclosure in black anodized finish, closed at both ends with black plastic end panels. It is rated IP54 and has a nominal size of 3.15 in x 1.77 in x 0.98 in (80 mm x 45 mm x 25 mm), giving designers and OEM teams a small, fully capped housing for a circuit board or interface electronics.

The aluminum extrusion measures 42.50 mm x 23.00 mm with an internal opening of 39.50 ± 0.37 mm by 20.00 ± 0.42 mm. PC boards slide horizontally into internal slots; the extrusion is designed for a 39 mm wide board, and the maximum board size is 79 mm long x 38.5 mm wide. With the closed bezels installed the drawing shows 44.65 mm x 25.15 mm across the ends, over a body length of 80.00 ± 0.50 mm.

This plastic end plate version includes two closed black end panels, each with two 0.150 in holes countersunk 0.230 in x 90°, along with four adhesive rubber feet and #6 x 3/8" thread-rolling steel end panel screws with a #4 flat head Phillips drive in a black finish. The recommended screw torque is 5 lbf-in. Replacements: 1421T2CL rubber feet (pack of 24) and 1455MS100BK (black, quantity 100) screws. The ordering table lists 1455D801BK as the matching aluminum end panel version.

The 1455D802BK ships in shrink wrap at 0.15 lbs (0.07 kg) and is RoHS and REACH compliant. Enclosures can be factory modified (milling, drilling, printing), and STEP or IGES solid models are available for CAD integration.
