Hammond 1455CF1201 120x54x23mm Clear Anodized Flanged Aluminum Enclosure

The 1455CF1201 is a clear anodized extruded aluminum PC board enclosure with integrated slotted mounting flanges, and the 120 mm long version of the slim 54 mm wide 1455F profile. It is built for OEM engineers, electronics designers and integrators who need a compact, IP54-rated housing with its own wall-mounting flanges. It keeps the same 54 mm body width and 23 mm outside depth as the 80 mm model (1455CF801) but adds length for PC boards up to 119 mm x 50 mm.

The body is extruded aluminum with a minimum wall thickness of 0.06" (1.5 mm), finished in clear anodized. The flanges are part of the extrusion: they give the enclosure a completely flat bottom surface and transition seamlessly into the body, and their slots allow for easy wall mounting. PC boards slide into internal slots extruded into the enclosure body; the drawing notes the extrusion is designed for a 50 mm wide PC board.

Nominal size is 4.75 in x 2.13 in x 0.91 in (121 mm x 54 mm x 23 mm). The series ordering table gives a length of 120 mm, an enclosure width of 54 mm, a total width with flanges of 74 mm and a total outside depth of 23 mm. Maximum PC board size is 119 mm long by 50 mm wide, and shipping weight is 0.22 lbs (0.10 kg).

Each 1455CF1201 includes the extruded body, two aluminum end panels and all hardware: zinc-plated #6 x 3/8" TTT thread rolling steel screws with a #4 flat head Phillips drive, supplied in natural to match the housing. Recommended screw torque is 5 lbf-in. Replacement end panels come in 10-packs: 1455CAL-10 (clear), 1455CALBK-10 (black), 1455CALBU-10 (blue), 1455CALRD-10 (red). The part is RoHS and REACH compliant, and the enclosure can be factory modified (milling, drilling, printing); solid models are available in STEP or IGES. The black anodized version is 1455CF1201BK.
