Hammond 1455A1202BU 120x70x12mm Blue Aluminum Enclosure, Plastic Ends

The 1455A1202BU is a blue anodized extruded aluminum PC board enclosure measuring 120 x 70 x 12 mm (4.72 x 2.76 x 0.47 in), fitted with plastic end panels. With a 12 mm height it suits OEM engineers and electronics builders packaging a thin board up to 119 mm long and 59.5 mm wide in a low-profile aluminum housing.

The body is extruded aluminum (6063 alloy, per the part drawing) with a minimum wall thickness of 0.06 in (1.5 mm) and a blue anodized finish. PC boards mount horizontally by sliding into internal slots extruded into the enclosure body, and the part carries an IP54 rating. The bezels are made from polycarbonate.

Per the drawing, overall length is 121.00 ±0.50 mm [4.764 ±0.020 in], with an overall width of 70.00 mm [2.756 in] and height of 12.00 mm [0.472 in]. Maximum PC board size is 119 mm long by 59.5 mm wide (extrusion designed for 60 mm wide x 120 mm long PCBs). This version has no sliding plate.

It ships as a complete enclosure with plastic end panels, four adhesive rubber feet and #6 x 3/8 in thread-rolling steel end panel screws with a #4 flat head Phillips drive (black screws on this blue version). Recommended screw torque is 5 lbf-in.

Enclosures can be factory modified (milling, drilling, printing) and solid models are available in STEP or IGES. Spare black closed bezels are listed as 1455APLBK (2-pack) and 1455APLBK-10 (10-pack). The 1455A1202BU is RoHS and REACH compliant.
