The 1454S is a low-profile steel instrument case from the 1454 Series, 10.00 in wide by 6.00 in deep by 3.00 in high (254 x 152 x 76 mm). The wide footprint and 3 in height make it well suited to desk and bench equipment that needs a broad front panel and space for a flat circuit board.
It is built from strong, economical 20 gauge steel with a rugged powder coat finish of beige panels and textured black covers; black is the listed colour. Reverse the case to choose between a sloping or vertical front panel.
The drawing shows an overall cover footprint of 260.35 mm [10.250 in] by 152.40 mm [6.000 in] and a height of 76.20 mm [3.000 in], so allow for the cover running slightly past the nominal 10 in width. The listed shipping weight is 0.5 lbs (0.23 kg).
6-32 Philips nickel plated screws and self-adhesive rubber feet are included; replacement packs are 1421J6 (6 screws) and 1421T2 (24 feet).
