Hammond 1451-22BK3 12x8 in Satin Black Perforated Chassis Cover

The 1451-22BK3 is a satin black perforated steel cover for the 12 x 8 in chassis of the 1441 Series. The ordering table lists it for the 1441-22 (2 in tall) and 1441-24 (3 in tall) chassis in grey and satin black, and on the same rows as the walnut-side 1441-22BK3CWW and 1441-24BK3CWW, so it suits black builds with or without wooden end panels.

Listed at 12 in x 8 in x 5.2 in (305 x 203 x 132 mm), the cover measures 307.01 mm [12.087 in] along the top, 305.18 mm [12.015 in] along the bottom, 203.20 mm [8.000 in] wide and 132.59 mm [5.220 in] high on the drawing. It is made from 20 gauge welded steel with a perforated steel cover, 0.91 mm [0.036 in] thick.

Four #6-32 x 1/4 in self tap screws are supplied and fasten through four 4.76 mm [0.188 in] diameter holes. The 1431-22BK3 satin black bottom panel listed on the same chassis rows closes the underside in a matching finish; the gray 1431-22 is the alternative.

The 1451-22BK3 can be factory modified by milling, drilling or printing, with STEP or IGES solid models available. It is RoHS and REACH compliant, ships boxed and has a shipping weight of 2.5 lbs (1.13 kg). The ASA 61 grey version is 1451-22.
