Inside, a removable 12 gauge inner panel of 45.00 in (H) by 33.00 in (D, as listed in the ordering table) mounts on the collar studs provided. The part drawing shows a door opening of 33.29 x 45.25 in (W x H) and a usable depth of 9.66 in. Its 10 in depth; the same 48 x 37-3/8 in face is also offered as 1447SK8HK (8 in deep), 1447SK12HK (12 in deep), 1447SK16HK (16 in deep).
The body is formed 14-gauge steel with continuously welded seams, a formed lip that excludes flowing liquids and contaminants, and a seamless poured-in-place gasket. Cover and enclosure are finished in ANSI 61 gray powder coat inside and out, and the inner panel is finished in white powder coat. The door can be removed by pulling the hinge pin, and the defeater handle comes with latching rods and interlock brackets. A door bonding stud and enclosure grounding stud are provided.
Cutouts suit flange-mounted variable depth mechanisms from ABB, Allen Bradley, C-H Westinghouse, GE, Siemens I-T-E and Square D Class 9422 (not Square D bracket-mounted or 9422TG1/TG2 devices). Disconnects and operating mechanisms are ordered separately. Welded brackets provide for wall mounting, with 0.44 in diameter mounting holes.
