The 1434-8 is a natural aluminum bottom plate for the 6 x 4 in chassis footprint of the 1444 Series aluminum chassis. One plate serves three chassis heights listed in the ordering table: the 1444-6415 (1.50 in tall), the 1444-8 (2.00 in tall) and the 1444-643 (3.00 in tall).
The plate measures 6 in x 4 in x 0.04 in (152 x 102 x 1 mm) and is made of aluminum with a natural aluminum colour, matching the 0.04 in (1 mm) aluminum thickness listed for all three compatible chassis. Per the 1444 Series notes, optional bottom plates are punched with 4 holes of 3/16 in diameter, and bottom plate hardware is not provided. Order part number 1421J6 (package of 6, 6-32 Philips head screws) separately. Bottom panels are available for all sizes in the series.
