The 1431-16BK3 is the satin black bottom plate for the 10 in x 6 in footprint of the 1441 Series steel chassis. It is a natural pick for the 1441-16BK3CWW satin black chassis with walnut sides and for the 1441-15BK3 and 1441-16BK3 black chassis, giving electronics builders a matching black base.
The plate size is 10 in x 6 in x 0.04 in (254 mm x 152 mm x 1 mm), made of 0.036 in steel (per the drawing) and finished in satin black powder paint. Four 3/16 in diameter holes are punched through it, and the chassis includes 1/8 in holes to allow installation.
The ordering table lists this plate for two heights: the 1441-15 / 1441-15BK3 at 1.00 in (25 mm) high and the 1441-16 / 1441-16BK3 / 1441-16BK3CWW at 2.00 in (51 mm) high, each 10.00 in (254 mm) wide by 6.00 in (152 mm) deep in 20 gauge steel.
