The 1427WGC is a 6 in metal bar handle with plastic end posts from the 1427 Metal Handles w/ Plastic Posts series, made for OEM engineers, panel builders and electronics enclosure users who need a durable pull or carrying handle. With 6.00 in (152 mm) between mounting holes it is the second-longest size in the series, giving a wider grip than the 5 in and 5.3 in versions.

The handle uses a heavy duty extruded anodized aluminum bar held between rugged end posts made of Polyamid with 30% reinforced glass fiber and molded-in brass inserts, giving it a modern style. This version pairs grey end posts with a clear extruded aluminum bar, a lighter two-tone combination that suits grey and light-coloured panels. The same size is also offered as 1427WBC and 1427WBB, since the series provides three colour versions for each size.
