Hammond 1427T3 5.0" Chrome Steel Chassis Handle, 1.50" Deep, 10-32

The 1427T3 is a round steel chassis handle with 5.00 in (127 mm) mounting hole centers and a Bright Chrome Plated finish. It is a single pull handle for equipment chassis, front panels and drawers, suited to OEM engineers, panel builders and integrators who need a steel handle on chassis, panel or drawer hardware. It is sold individually and ships as a kit with its mounting hardware.

The handle is formed from round CR steel with a 0.31 in (8 mm) diameter and carries the Bright Chrome Plated finish. The series table lists the black version of this size as 1427T3BK. Among the 5.00 in handles, the 1427T3 is the heavier-rod option: 0.31 in diameter with 10-32 screws, at a 1.50 in depth.

Each end of the handle is tapped 10-32 UNF-2B x 14.27 mm [0.500 in], and the kit includes 2 Panhead 10-32 x 1/2" screws and 2 internal tooth lockwashers, so it fastens from behind the panel through two holes drilled at 5.00 in centers. The 1427T3 is listed as REACH compliant and RoHS compliant.
