The 1427GGC is a 3 in metal bar handle with plastic end posts from the 1427 Metal Handles w/ Plastic Posts series, made for OEM engineers, panel builders and electronics enclosure users who need a durable pull or carrying handle. With 3.00 in (76 mm) mounting hole centers it is the shortest size in the series ordering table, for positions where only a compact handle will fit.

The handle uses a heavy duty extruded anodized aluminum bar held between rugged end posts made of Polyamid with 30% reinforced glass fiber and molded-in brass inserts, giving it a modern style. This version pairs grey end posts with a clear extruded aluminum bar, a lighter two-tone combination that suits grey and light-coloured panels. The same size is also offered as 1427GBC and 1427GBB, since the series provides three colour versions for each size.
