Hammond 1427CG7 0.10-0.26" Cable Range Liquid-Tight Nylon Cordgrip

The 1427CG7 is a black nylon, liquid-tight strain relief cordgrip (cable gland) for sealing a cable where it enters or leaves an enclosure. It accepts cable from 0.10 in (3 mm) to 0.26 in (7 mm) in diameter and mounts in a 0.49 in (12 mm) hole, making it the smallest cordgrip in the 1427CG series table. Panel builders, electricians and OEM engineers use it to bring cables from 0.10 in up to 0.26 in into enclosures while keeping the entry liquid-tight.

Its large opening and highly flexible strain relief elements work together with a TPE sealing ring. As the cordgrip is tightened, the strain relief elements close in a circular sequence on the sealing ring, gripping the cable without twisting or damaging it. The body is black nylon and a nylon locknut is included.

The 1427CG series is designed to meet NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13 with protection to IP68, carries a UL94-V2 flammability rating and is UL, CSA and VDE listed. The 1427CG7 is also listed as REACH and RoHS compliant.
