The 1427C9 is the longest oval handle in Hammond's 1427 & M series: a 6 in pull in heavy duty extruded aluminum with a clear anodized finish. It is intended for larger instrument cases, enclosure doors and equipment panels that need a longer, modern-style handle, mounting on 6.00 in (152 mm) hole centers.
The handle is 1.75 in (44 mm) deep and 0.63 in (16 mm) wide. Drawing dimensions include a 159.54 mm [6.281 in] overall length, a 145.26 mm [5.719 in] inside span between the legs and 37.31 mm [1.469 in] of clearance beneath the grip. Hole centers on the drawing are 152.40 mm [6.000 in].
The legs are tapped 10-32 UNF-2B, 12.70 mm [0.500 in] deep. Hardware is included: two panhead 10-32 x 1/2" screws and two internal tooth lockwashers. Like all handles in the family it is sold singly.
The 1427C9 is RoHS and REACH compliant and ships in a bag at 0.15 lbs (0.07 kg). A black anodized version with the same dimensions is 1427C9BK.
