Hammond 1422N4SSF24FQT 72x72x24 In 304 Stainless Two-Door Floormount Enclosure

The 1422N4SSF24FQT is the 24 in deep, 304 stainless steel version of the largest size in the 1422 N4 QT SS series. This Type 4X two-door floormount enclosure measures 72.13 x 72.06 x 24.69 in (1,832 x 1,830 x 627 mm), nominally 72 x 72 x 24, and its drawing shows 24.00 in of usable depth. It is designed to house electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls and instruments where equipment may be hosed down, very wet or where corrosion is a serious problem.

Construction is formed 12 gauge stainless steel with smooth, continuously welded seams and no knockouts, cutouts or holes. The two continuously hinged doors are secured with quarter turn latches and have provision for padlocking; pulling the stainless steel hinge pins removes the doors. A seamless poured-in place gasket and formed lips on the doors and top of the enclosure opening exclude flowing liquids and contaminants. 12 in floor stands are welded to the enclosure, and heavy duty stainless steel lifting eyebolts are provided with reinforcing support angles.

The removable 10 gauge inner panel is 68 x 68 in (1,727 x 1,727 mm), finished in white powder coating and mounted on panel supports and collar studs; the center post is removable for easy panel installation. The part drawing shows two door openings of 34.00 in each, 69.38 in high, and 84.13 in overall height including floor stands. A bonding stud on each door, a grounding stud in the enclosure for each door and a literature pocket are provided.

The series is listed to UL 508A Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12, and complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66. The part is RoHS and REACH compliant.

Finish is natural brushed stainless steel. The 1422N4SSF24FQT ships on a skid at 945 lbs (428.64 kg). The 316 stainless steel version is 1422N4S16F24FQT.
