The 1422N4D12F is a 60.13 x 60.06 x 12.69 in Type 4 two-door floormount enclosure from the 1422 N4 FM Series. Its square 60 in front and 12.69 in (322 mm) depth give a 56 x 56 in removable inner panel, suiting electricians and panel builders who need a washdown-capable or outdoor housing for electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls and instruments.
Construction is formed steel in 12 gauge (60 in high enclosures), with smooth, continuously welded seams and no knockouts, cutouts or holes. Heavy duty lifting eyebolts are provided with reinforcing support angles, and 12 in floor stands are welded to the enclosure. The cover and enclosure are finished in recoatable smooth ANSI 61 gray powder coating.
The two continuously hinged doors can be removed by pulling the stainless steel hinge pin and are secured with heavy duty stainless steel clamps, with provision for padlocking. A formed lip on the door and top of the enclosure opening excludes flowing liquids and contaminants, and the gasket is a seamless poured-in place design. A center post is removable for easy installation of the inner panel; the drawing shows a door opening of 26.55 in wide on each side and a usable depth of 12.06 in.
Included is a removable 10 gauge inner panel, 56.00 in (1422 mm) high by 56.00 in (1422 mm) wide, finished in white powder coating and mounted on panel supports and collar studs. The 1422N4D12F is rated UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4 and 12 (UL File E65324, CSA Cert. LR21001) and complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66. It is REACH and RoHS compliant and ships on a skid at 566 lbs (256.73 kg).
