Hammond 1421A50 50-Pack 10-32 Rack Screws with Black Nylon Cup Washers

The 1421A50 is a 50-piece rack mounting hardware kit containing 50 nickel-plated 10-32 rack screws and 50 black nylon plastic cup washers, supplied in a clamshell package. It is intended for installers, OEM assembly departments and maintenance technicians who mount equipment to standard threaded 10-32 rack rails and want a clean, finished faceplate appearance.

The screws are 0.625" long machine screws with UNF-2A (10-32) threads, made from heat-treated low-carbon steel to the ANSI B18.6.3 standard and nickel-plated. The oval countersunk head seats into the matching cup washer for the polished look traditionally used in audio, broadcast, telecommunications and industrial rack installations, while the slotted and Phillips combination drive lets you install with common hand tools.

The nylon plastic cup washers in the 1421A50 kit are designed for oval-head screws, with an outside diameter of 0.570" and an overall height of 0.150". They distribute tightening force evenly over a larger area, helping reduce the chance of marking equipment faceplates as the screw is torqued down. Replacement nylon cup washers are also available separately in the 1421 Series for service work.

With 50 screws and 50 washers per pack, this kit covers a moderate-size rack build-out or a stock of spares for retrofit and repair jobs. Shipping weight is 1.2 lbs (0.54 kg).
