The 1418U20 is a 72 x 30 x 20 in (1,829 x 762 x 508 mm) mild steel wall mount enclosure. It offers 20.01 in of usable depth and a 69 x 27 in removable inner panel, and ships on a skid given its 308 lb shipping weight.
Construction is formed 14 gauge steel for the body and door, with smooth, continuously welded seams and no knockouts, cutouts or holes. A formed lip on the door and body helps exclude flowing liquids and contaminants, and oil resistant gaskets are permanently secured. The continuously hinged door can be removed by pulling the hinge pin and is closed with stainless steel clamps, with provision for padlocking. Its drawing shows a door stiffener in place for extra rigidity.
Inside, the removable 12 gauge inner panel measures 69.00 x 27.00 in (1753 x 686 mm) and mounts on collar studs. Per the drawing, the door opening is 27.26 x 69.25 in and usable depth is 20.01 in. Welded brackets with 0.44 in holes handle wall mounting. A bonding stud on the door, a grounding stud in the enclosure and a door literature pocket are provided. The enclosure is finished inside and out in recoatable smooth ANSI 61 gray powder coat; the inner panel is white.
