Hammond 1418TFHP 28U Full Height 19 in Rack Rails for 60 x 24 Enclosures

The 1418TFHP is a pair of full-height panel rails that converts a 60 x 24 Hammond 1418FS or HN4FS Series freestanding enclosure into a 19 in rack-mount system. It is aimed at controls integrators and IT/OT teams who need standard rack equipment such as switches, servers or PLC chassis mounted inside a NEMA-rated industrial enclosure.

The rails provide 28 rack units of 19.00 in (483 mm) mounting on a 49.00 in (1245 mm) rail height. They are formed from heavy-duty 10-gauge steel and finished in a white powder coat that is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant. Mounting holes are threaded 10-32 at standard EIA spacing, so equipment attaches directly with standard rack hardware; 10-32 mounting hardware is offered as an accessory.

Per the manufacturer drawing, the rails attach to the enclosure with 3/8-16 screws, 3/8 flat washers and 3/8-16 spring nuts (six of each). The ordering table lists U and V dimensions of 3.78 in (96 mm) and 7.78 in (198 mm).

Hammond manufactures the 1418PR Series in North America in an ISO 9001 certified facility, and the rails are TAA compliant, REACH compliant and RoHS compliant. The pair ships boxed at 15 lbs (6.80 kg).
