Hammond 1418T20LP 60x36x20 in Type 4/12 Wallmount Enclosure, Less Panel

The 1418T20LP is a 60 x 36 x 20 in (1,524 mm x 914 mm x 508 mm) Type 4/12 mild steel wallmount enclosure from the 1418LP Series, supplied less panel. It is designed for instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, electrical junction boxes and terminal wiring enclosures, and for locations where equipment may be hosed down or very wet, or outdoors where full weather protection is needed. The 1418T20LP is the deepest 60 x 36 in body listed in the 1418LP table, at 20 in (508 mm), and it ships on a skid, reflecting its 247 lb (112.04 kg) shipping weight.

The body and door are formed from 14 gauge steel with smooth, continuously welded seams and no knockouts, cutouts or holes. A formed lip on the door and enclosure excludes flowing liquids and contaminants, and a seamless poured-in-place gasket seals the door. The door swings on a removable stainless steel continuous hinge, closes with stainless steel clamps and has provision for padlocking. Cover and enclosure are finished in recoatable smooth ANSI 61 gray powder coating.

From the part drawing, the door opening is 57.25 x 33.25 in and the usable depth is 20.00 in. The inner panel is sold separately: collar studs accept the optional 57 x 33 in panel, 18P5733 in white or 18G5733 galvanized. A bonding stud on the door, a grounding stud in the enclosure and a literature pocket inside the door are provided.

The enclosure mounts to the wall on welded brackets with Ø 0.44 in holes. It is listed to UL 508A Type 3R, 12, 13, 4 and cUL Type 3R, 12, 13, 4 (UL File E65324), complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66, and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
