Hammond 1418T20 60x36x20 in NEMA 12 Wallmount Enclosure, Deep Body

The 1418T20 is a 60 x 36 x 20 in (1,524 x 914 x 508 mm) NEMA Type 12 wallmount enclosure, the deepest 60 x 36 in size in the series. It provides 20.01 in of usable depth and includes a 57 x 33 in removable inner panel for large power and control assemblies.

Construction is formed 14 gauge steel for the body and door, with smooth, continuously welded seams and no knockouts, cutouts or holes. A formed lip on the door and body helps exclude flowing liquids and contaminants, and oil resistant gaskets are permanently secured. The continuously hinged door can be removed by pulling the hinge pin and is closed with stainless steel clamps, with provision for padlocking. Its drawing shows a door stiffener in place for extra rigidity.

Inside, the removable 12 gauge inner panel measures 57.00 x 33.00 in (1448 x 838 mm) and mounts on collar studs. Per the drawing, the door opening is 33.26 x 57.25 in and usable depth is 20.01 in. Welded brackets with 0.44 in holes handle wall mounting. A bonding stud on the door, a grounding stud in the enclosure and a door literature pocket are provided. The enclosure is finished inside and out in recoatable smooth ANSI 61 gray powder coat; the inner panel is white.

The 1418T20 is listed under UL 508A Type 12 and 13 (UL File E65324) and CSA Type 12 and 13 (Cert. LR21001), and complies with NEMA Type 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP54. It is REACH and RoHS compliant. Note that the 1418 Series is being discontinued in favour of the 1418LP Series, so availability is limited to inventory on hand.
