The 1416T is a Type 1 mild steel component case with a ventilated cover held by screws, measuring 20 in x 10 in x 10 in (508 mm x 254 mm x 254 mm) H x W x D. It is designed to provide mechanical protection for components requiring ventilation and is suitable where heat dissipation is required, making it a fit for electricians, OEM engineers and panel builders housing heat-producing devices indoors.
At 20 x 10 x 10 in it is the largest case in the 1416 Series, with the same height and width as the 1416Q but 2 in more depth.
The base is formed from 16 gauge steel with two 0.5"/0.75" conduit knockouts located in each end, and four .125" high raised dimples with mounting holes are provided on the base. The cover is formed from 18 gauge steel with 0.235" x 1.5" ventilating slots. Screw holes and offsets in the cover allow easy assembly.
Base and cover are finished in ANSI 61 gray powder coating. The 1416T complies with NEMA Type 1, is RoHS and REACH compliant, and ships in a box at 14 lbs (6.35 kg).
