At 11 x 7 x 7 in it is a mid-size case in the 1416 Series, between the 10 x 6 x 6 in 1416I and the 12 x 8 x 8 in 1416M.
The base is formed from 16 gauge steel with two 0.5"/0.75" conduit knockouts located in each end, and four .125" high raised dimples with mounting holes are provided on the base. The cover is formed from 18 gauge steel with 0.235" x 1.5" ventilating slots. Screw holes and offsets in the cover allow easy assembly.
Base and cover are finished in ANSI 61 gray powder coating. The 1416K complies with NEMA Type 1, is RoHS and REACH compliant, and ships in a box at 6 lbs (2.72 kg).
