The 1414N4M6 is a 14 x 12 x 6 in (356 x 305 x 152 mm) Type 4 mild steel junction box with a lift-off cover secured by stainless steel clamps and screws. It gives panel builders space for relays, contactors and terminal blocks in a clamped box rated for hose-down and outdoor use.
The body is formed from 16 or 14 gauge mild steel with smooth, continuously welded seams and no knockouts, cutouts or holes, so you add only the entries you need. The 14 gauge cover lifts off completely and is secured with stainless steel clamps and screws over a seamless poured-in place gasket. Welded brackets provide for wall or structure mounting.
It includes a removable 14 gauge inner panel of 12.75 x 10.88 in (324 x 276 mm). The drawing shows an 11.30 x 13.30 in door opening and 5.35 in of usable depth. The panel mounts on internal threaded weld studs. Additional inner panels, a swing panel kit, terminal kit assemblies and door clamping hardware are listed as accessories.
The 1414 N4 Series is rated UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 12 and 13 and complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4 and 12 and IEC 60529 IP66. Cover and enclosure are phosphatized and finished in recoatable smooth ANSI 61 gray powder coating, a bonding stud is provided on the door and a grounding stud on the enclosure, and the part is REACH and RoHS compliant. Shipping weight is 20 lbs (9.07 kg).
