Hammond 1411TT 10x6x2" ASA 61 Grey Aluminum Utility Case

The 1411TT is a 10 x 6 x 2 in (254 x 152 x 51 mm) utility case from the 1411 series, finished in smooth ASA 61 grey powder coat (Hammond color GY2). It gives electronics builders, OEM engineers and service technicians a ready-finished aluminum housing for instruments, controls and small circuits.

Construction is a simple two-piece assembly: a bottom and a cover, each made from 0.04" (1.02 mm) aluminum panels. Four self-tapping screws are included to fasten the cover, and replacement screws are available as 1421J6, a package of six plated 6-32 x 1/4" Philips head self-tapping screws.

The 10 x 6 x 2 inch size offers a large, flat footprint with a low 2 inch height, a good match for wide circuit boards that need plenty of surface area. The drawing gives overall assembly dimensions of 253.64 x 152.04 x 51.00 mm (9.99 x 5.99 x 2.01 in) and a usable inner box of 251.61 x 147.19 x 48.97 mm (9.91 x 5.80 x 1.93 in) length by width by height. Shipping weight is 1 lbs (0.45 kg).

1411TT is REACH and RoHS compliant and ships shrink wrapped. The same size is also offered as 1411TTU (unpainted aluminum); 1412TT (20 gauge steel, grey). The enclosure can be factory modified with milling, drilling or printing on a quote basis, and solid models are available in STEP or IGES format.
